Job Title: Automation Engineer

Cranmore Recruitment is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our client's team in Derry. As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions for various industrial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop automation systems using PLCs, HMI, and SCADA software
  • Program and commission automation systems, including MCC design and commissioning
  • Work with electrical drawings and schematics to design and implement automation solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure automation solutions meet business requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve automation system issues
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in automation engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming languages, including C++ and ladder logic
  • Experience with HMI and SCADA software, including Schneider and Codesys
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
