Electrical Panel Assembler

Vertiv is seeking a skilled Electrical Panel Assembler to join our team in Derry, Northern Ireland. As an Electrical Panel Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling electrical switchgear and associated electromechanical equipment to engineering drawings and production timescales.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble electrical switchgear and electromechanical equipment to engineering drawings and production timescales.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained for products both in the factory and at customer premises.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Work from drawings, manuals, schematics, and other technical documents.
- Contribute to fitting, building, or construction of various parts to ensure a smooth process of component amalgamation.
- Assemble prototype and development units with supervisors and managers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Proven experience working on assembly of both mechanical and electrical equipment and electromechanical systems.
- Strong technical skills in wiring and assembling electrical panels.
- Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision.
- Sound knowledge of engineering tools and electrical hand tools and equipment.
- Ability to mentor and develop team members.
- Positive attitude, flexible working, and ability to fit in as part of a team.
- Regular overtime at enhanced rates with bonus hours scheme.
