We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Nurse to join our team at HMP Sudbury, a Category D open prison in Derbyshire. As a Primary Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare to inmates, supporting their physical and mental wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive healthcare services to inmates, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to address the unique needs of each inmate
  • Provide education and support to inmates on healthy lifestyle choices and disease prevention
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of healthcare policies and procedures
