This role is integral to the global e-billing finance team located in Glasgow.
The e-billing team is responsible for the prompt and precise generation of electronic invoices for our offices across the UK and EMEA regions.
In this position, you will support senior e-billing analysts by entering and managing data within the appropriate systems/platforms to ensure accurate invoice submissions and resolve any issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update vendor and timekeeper records in e-billing systems.
- Collaborate with the rates team to input new client rates into the 3E system.
- Handle fee arrangements in third-party e-billing platforms and ensure reconciliation with 3E.
- Implement updates to minimize invoice rejections.
- Communicate the Outside Counsel Guidelines effectively.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new e-billing clients.
- Keep Client Requirements documentation current.
- Engage with e-billing vendors to troubleshoot issues and apply client-specific requirements.
- Follow up on invoices that have not yet been uploaded.
- Support the e-billing Technical Specialist during maintenance activities.
- Address ad-hoc inquiries as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience in finance is preferred.
- Ability to excel in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong analytical capabilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient with technology and online platforms.
- Capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
- Familiarity with E-Billing systems is a plus but not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of VAT is advantageous.
