About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Northeast Regional Facilitator. This is a unique opportunity to work with our Northeast Regional Lead and support the growth and development of our learning disability and autism community in Scotland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Northeast Regional Lead in building relationships with community members, organizations, and decision-makers.
  • Identify and engage with individuals with learning disabilities and autism to participate in regional and national meetings, workshops, and consultations.
  • Listen to and amplify the voices of community members, ensuring their perspectives are represented and valued.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication channels to keep community members informed about important issues and opportunities.
  • Build strong working relationships with regional teams, the Programme Manager, and colleagues at Values Into Action Scotland.
  • Represent the organization at meetings and events, promoting the values and mission of Values Into Action Scotland.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and autism.
  • Ability to use technology to connect with community members and stakeholders.
