Job Overview

The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Solicitor to join our team at William James Recruitment. As a key member of our Construction & Engineering team, you will work on a varied caseload covering all aspects of non-contentious Construction matters, including JCT and NEC contract forms.

Our client is a leading law firm recognized across the UK for providing innovative solutions to their extensive client base, which includes large multinationals across the public and private sector.

As a Construction Solicitor, you will be handling a varied workload and will be encouraged and expected to form close relationships with clients. You will work closely with an administrative team to ensure seamless delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling a varied caseload of non-contentious Construction matters
  • Working on JCT and NEC contract forms
  • Developing and maintaining close relationships with clients
  • Collaborating with an administrative team to ensure efficient delivery of services
  • Managing a varied workload and meeting deadlines

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of post-qualification experience as a Construction Solicitor
  • Experience with industry standard form building contracts
  • Strong commercial acumen and passion for business development
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills
