Operations Coordinator
Location: West Bromwich
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
Salary: £25,000
Type: Office Based, Permanent
This role presents a fantastic opportunity to become a vital part of the team overseeing the daily administrative functions of the organization.
This position encompasses a comprehensive range of responsibilities, providing complete oversight and management of orders as they progress through the organization from initial quotation to final delivery.
We are seeking a personable individual who is dedicated to upholding exceptional standards of customer service and possesses a meticulous attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute sales order entry procedures with precision
- Ensure the prompt and accurate processing of sales orders
- Handle inbound calls and conduct telesales outreach
- Identify and address any conflicts related to sales orders, supplier deliveries, and stock availability
- Collaborate with suppliers to guarantee timely deliveries
- Manage ordering and creation of purchase orders through the MRP System, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery
- Comprehend and engage with technical products
- Generate invoices and coordinate with the Stores department regarding shipments
- Communicate with couriers and freight forwarders to arrange collections and dispatches
- Collect, issue, and distribute incoming and outgoing project documentation within agreed timelines
- Compile and submit data booklets and manuals to clients
- Follow up on outstanding documents from sub-suppliers
- Assist the team with documentation for sales orders, such as certificates of conformity or material certificates
- Provide general administrative support across various departments as needed
