Job Title: Year 1 Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Year 1 teacher to join our team at a well-performing primary school in South Bristol. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to a class of students, with a focus on creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles.
  • Develop and implement effective behavior management strategies to ensure a safe and respectful classroom environment.
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods to maximize pupil achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching and learning.
Requirements:
  • UK qualified teacher status.
  • Experience of working as a teacher within the last 10 years.
  • Ability to differentiate content for pupils with SEND.
  • Good behavior management skills.
  • Ability to utilize formative and summative assessment to maximize pupil progress.
