Job Title: Year 1 Educator Position

Location: South Bristol

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Year 1 teacher to join our team at a two-form entry primary school in South Bristol. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality education to a class of Year 1 students until the end of term 1.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to Year 1 students
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
  • Use formative and summative assessment to monitor student progress and inform instruction
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and respectful classroom culture

Requirements:

  • UK qualified teacher status
  • Experience of working as a teacher within the last 10 years
  • Ability to differentiate instruction for students with SEND
  • Good behavior management skills
  • Experience of working in a primary school setting
