We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Novus Property Solutions Ltd. As a key member of our Social Housing Planned Works team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts for designated projects to ensure accurate financial planning and management.
- Support the team in valuing and authorising payments to sub-contractors within the region, maintaining strong relationships with contractors and suppliers.
- Liaise with Contract Managers to establish project specifications and requirements, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Attend and contribute to meetings with work colleagues and/or clients/customers, building strong relationships and demonstrating excellent communication skills.
- Monitor contract progress, assess, and report any changes that may affect project costs and/or time scales, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Assist in the control of contract budgets, ensuring accurate financial management and reporting.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the Construction industry, with a strong understanding of refurbishments and social housing planned works.
- Strong commercial acumen, excellent attention to detail, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Expert IT skills, with proficiency in MS Office.
- Full UK Driving Licence, as travel is a requirement for this role.
