Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Safety Manager to join our team at Zijin Mining Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, as well as implementing and maintaining effective safety and health management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety and health policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on safety and health procedures and protocols.
- Investigate and report on all incidents and accidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Collaborate with management and employees to promote a safety-first culture within the organization.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Prepare and submit reports on safety and health performance to management and regulatory bodies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as safety, health, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a safety and health management role, preferably in the mining industry.
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including OSHA and MSHA.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
