Key Responsibilities:

As the Bid Writer, your duties will include:

  1. Crafting tailored responses and writing method statements for each proposal, ensuring alignment with local authority requirements and clearly communicating win themes to create superior, sales-oriented submissions.
  2. Meeting time-sensitive KPIs and contributing to broader departmental goals, always striving to prepare and finalize bids promptly while maintaining high quality.

  5. Drafting and revising content as needed.

  9. Creating presentations and handouts.

Qualifications:

To excel as a Bid Writer, you should possess at least two years of relevant experience in Bid Writing, Copywriting, or Sales, or hold a related degree. A genuine passion for writing and content creation, coupled with exceptional written communication skills, is essential.

In addition, as the Bid Writer:

This role demands a specific writing style: the ability to produce persuasive, concise, and highly effective prose. Experience in writing with purpose and strategy, aimed at generating sales, is crucial.

Demonstrate excellent editing skills to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Work in an organized, methodical manner, often adapting to meet workload demands and managing multiple bids simultaneously.

Attention to detail is paramount.

You should exhibit flexibility and a proactive attitude, motivated to meet tight deadlines, occasionally requiring you to work beyond standard hours (though this is not a regular occurrence).

Being a team player is essential, as it is for any role within this organization.
