About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Roaming Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our team at FMG Repair Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing and estimating vehicle damage, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and that our repair processes are efficient and effective.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of vehicle damage to determine the extent of the damage and the cost of repair
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of estimates and repairs
  • Liaise with insurance companies and customers to obtain authority to repair vehicles and to explain repair methodologies
  • Work effectively with engineers and technicians to ensure that repairs are carried out to the highest standard
  • Stay up-to-date with all repair methodologies, including Thatcham Repair Methods and BSi safety standards
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor or Estimator
  • Experience using Audatex and other estimating software
  • NVQ level 3/City & Guilds or ATA/IMI qualification
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
