Vehicle Damage Assessor

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our team at FMG Repair Services in Sheffield. As a key member of our bodyshop team, you will be responsible for assessing damaged vehicles, determining the extent of the damage, and preparing estimates for repair.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect damaged vehicles to assess the extent of the damage
- Determine the prescribed repair method and prepare estimates for repair
- Liaise with insurance companies to obtain authority to repair the vehicle
- Work effectively with customers, engineers, and technicians to explain and ensure understanding of the repair methodology
- Stay up-to-date with all repair methodologies and manufacturer literature
Requirements:
- NVQ level 3/City & Guilds or ATA/IMI qualified with a solid Bodyshop background
- Full UK driving licence
