Service and Quality Manager Position Overview

This role is yard-based in a leading provider of tower cranes, requiring a service and quality manager to oversee the general running of yard and on-site duties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems and experience in managing departments in a similar role.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Organize and manage a team of 10 engineers to cover breakdowns and services in the yard and on-site.
  • Create and implement technical processes to improve efficiency and quality in the yard and on-site operations.
  • Manage and plan the general running and duties of the yard and on-site operations, including servicing, breakdown, and maintenance of tower cranes.
  • Develop and implement new processes to improve the overall performance of the yard and on-site operations.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a yard-based or industrial setting.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic experience, with a technical approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of engineers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Benefits:
  • Monday-Friday, 8:00-17:00 working hours.
  • 30 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays.
