We are seeking a dynamic individual recognized for their outstanding organizational abilities and a passion for providing top-notch assistance to join our team as an Operations Support Coordinator.
Due to the requirements of this position, a valid UK driving license is essential.
Weekend work will be necessary on a rotational basis.
Work Environment
In this role, you will report to the property operations manager and be an integral part of the property leadership team, collaborating with department heads from various areas including Welcome, Gardens, Rangers, Collections, and Programming.
This position is based at a property that serves visitors at two locations. Our visitor numbers have increased significantly in recent years, making us one of the most frequented sites in the region.
Key Responsibilities
You will support daily operations and must be proficient in various IT applications while thriving in a fast-paced team environment. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of support services, including financial reporting, volunteer coordination, and administrative tasks. You will also manage compliance reporting and produce signage and interpretative materials. Additionally, you will oversee the accounting and processing for several car parks. As part of a dedicated team, your involvement will be crucial in ensuring our visitors enjoy an exceptional experience.
In this role, you will supervise a small team of facilities assistants and take the lead in optimizing our processes and procedures.
You will also participate in a duty management rota for the estate, demonstrating confidence and capability in addressing property-related issues as they arise. You will be required to travel between sites to respond to various emergencies.
Candidate Profile

- Relevant experience in a business support setting, with responsibilities in facilities or office supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A collaborative team spirit
- The ability to multitask and prioritize your workload with meticulous attention to detail
- A willingness to work under supervision while also using your initiative for daily tasks
- Advanced IT skills and adaptability across a broad range of software and social media platforms
