Consultant Psychiatrist Redwood 2 Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Consultant Psychiatrist to join our dynamic Inpatient and PICU team at Highbury Hospital. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with a diverse range of mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead multidisciplinary teams and provide clinical leadership in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients.
- Develop and implement innovative treatment plans, working closely with junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to the teaching and development of medical students, in partnership with local universities.
- Participate in research and service evaluation, working with the Trust's research team and academic partners.
- Collaborate with local managers and professional colleagues to ensure the efficient running of services and share best practices with consultant colleagues.

We are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist with:
MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment.Approved clinician status or able to achieve within 3 months of appointment.Excellent clinical skills, knowledge, and experience in General Adult Psychiatry.Ability to manage clinical complexity and uncertainty.Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.-
