About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Consultant Psychiatrist to join our dynamic Inpatient and PICU team at Highbury Hospital. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with a diverse range of mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams and provide clinical leadership in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients.
  • Develop and implement innovative treatment plans, working closely with junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the teaching and development of medical students, working with local universities to provide high-quality education and training.
  • Participate in research and service evaluation, working with the Trust's research team to improve diagnosis, treatment, and care.
  • Collaborate with local managers and professional colleagues to ensure the efficient running of services and share best practices with consultant colleagues.
