NHS Ayrshire & Arran's Public Health Directorate is seeking a highly skilled professional to contribute to our multidisciplinary team working in the healthcare sector. As a Public Health Consultant, you will be part of a dynamic team embedded within the NHS, collaborating closely with various stakeholders, including Community Planning Partnerships, Local Authorities, Integrated Health & Social Care Partnerships, and the Third Sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement public health strategies and initiatives to improve health outcomes and reduce health inequalities.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and deliver healthcare services that meet the needs of the population.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and guidelines that promote public health and well-being.
  • Work closely with local authorities, community groups, and other stakeholders to promote health and wellbeing.

Requirements:
