Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled Community Charge Nurse to join our team at North Ayr Health Centre. The successful candidate will have experience working as a qualified registered Nurse and be responsible for the comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for various client groups in the community setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage a caseload of individuals within Ayr North locality affected by homelessness and/or social deprivation.
- Provide supervision and support to staff while carrying a caseload of individuals with complex health and social care needs.
- Work with individuals who have experienced trauma, vulnerability, and potentially been subject to public protection legislation.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently, and have the ability to provide evidence of personal development and a willingness to undertake appropriate training. A current NMC PIN is essential.
Working Arrangements:
This is a fixed-term/secondment position for 12 months, and a UK driving licence/car ownership is required for the role.
