Job Title: Senior Procurement Manager

About the Role:

1st Executive Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end ownership of commercial and sourcing strategy for assigned categories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement commercial and sourcing strategies to drive business value and improve supply chain performance.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical purchasing and procurement projects.
  • Manage Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) activities to ensure strong relationships with key suppliers.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and stakeholders to secure best-in-class contracts and terms.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop category plans that meet those needs.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of creating and executing compelling end-to-end category plans.
  • Experience in supplier relationship management and negotiation.
  • Project management experience, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Stakeholder management experience, with the ability to influence and engage with senior managers.
  • Degree and MCIPS qualification.

Desirable:

  • Indirect category experience, with exposure to logistics, distribution, or warehousing.
  • Experience in procurement, specifically within indirect strategic sourcing.
  • Strong commercial experience, with the ability to influence decision-making at the managerial level.
  • Contract management experience in a complex commercial construct.
  • Strategic sourcing experience.
  • Track record in commercial procurement.
  • Experience in defining and implementing strategic change within an organization.
