Executive Waiter

The Chef de Rang is a key position within our luxury restaurant, The Georgian, at Harrods. As a member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our discerning guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Supervisors and Restaurant Management team to train and develop the waiting team, drive sales and service excellence.
• Set up and clear tables prior to, during, and after service, ensuring the highest standards are maintained.
• Ensure your station and the restaurant run smoothly, maintaining Harrods' high standards of quality, service, and maximizing productivity.
• Convey the Georgian story to customers throughout the dining experience.
• Ensure opening and closing checklists are adhered to, revising and updating them with the Supervisors to ensure they are relevant and standards are always at the highest level.
• Have good attention to detail, evident through floor mis-en-place, checklists, and sufficient stock levels.

About You

We are looking for an excellent communicator who can motivate colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the operation, maintaining company standards at all times. You should have experience in a similar role, such as a senior waiter or waitress position, and have a good understanding of cash handling procedures and working efficiently and effectively with minimum supervision.

Requirements:

• Excellent organizational skills, customer service focused, and able to work at pace while remaining calm and self-assured at all times.
• Great storytelling abilities, capable of bringing the brand's story and magic to life for customers throughout the dining experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the restaurant menu and allergens, as well as a good understanding of any specials promotions.
• Able to answer guest queries quickly, knowledgeably, and in a discreet manner, in line with the highest standards.
