Job Title: Quality Improvement Nurse Manager for Patient Safety and Experience

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Improvement Nurse Manager to lead and coordinate initiatives aimed at enhancing patient experience and safety within our organization.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical leadership and professional support to nursing and wider teams.
  • Ensure high-quality, safe patient care is delivered by an appropriately skilled and educated workforce.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure a high standard of quality care delivery, including safety, effectiveness, and patient experience.

Person Specification:
  • Current and relevant NMC/HCPC registration.
  • Teaching and assessing qualification.
  • Degree in a health-related subject.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Management/Leadership training.
  • Patient safety investigator training.
  • Certification in Patient Safety or Quality Improvement.
Experience:
  • Significant experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience in patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing and interpreting data to improve patient care.
Knowledge:
  • In-depth understanding of patient safety principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of PSIRF, NHS policies and procedures, related to patient safety and quality.
  • Awareness of current healthcare legislation and regulations.
