We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at a highly regarded Primary School in Hackney. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will work closely with children with SEMH needs on a 1:1 and small group basis, providing emotional support and guidance to help them overcome their challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional support and guidance to children with SEMH needs
  • Work closely with class teachers to deliver core subject material and support pupils in the classroom
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to meet the needs of each child
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive support system for children with SEMH needs

Requirements:

  • Graduate with a strong academic record (2:1 or 1st Class degree)
  • Passion for learning and working with young people
  • 'Can-do' attitude and ability to work independently
  • Previous school-based experience and understanding of SEMH needs

What We Offer:

  • Competitive daily rate of £105-£110
  • Monday to Friday working hours
  • Long-term, full-time contract
