Job Title:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Albion Rye Associates. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and promoting our specialized services in the defence and aerospace sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Generation & Client Acquisition:
    • Proactively identify and target potential clients in the defence and aerospace industries.
    • Generate leads through networking, cold-calling, industry events, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Sales Strategy:
    • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue growth and expand our market share in the defence and aerospace sectors.
  • Proposals & Contract Negotiation:
    • Lead the preparation of high-quality proposals, presentations, and bids.
    • Negotiate contracts to close deals and secure business partnerships.
  • Market Research & Analysis:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the defence and aerospace sectors.
  • Networking:
    • Represent the company at industry conferences, meetings, and webinars to expand the network and raise brand awareness.
  • Client Retention:
    • Collaborate with project management and operations teams to ensure high-quality service delivery and maintain high levels of client satisfaction, fostering long-term partnerships.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the defence and aerospace sectors.
  • Deep understanding of defence and aerospace services, with specific expertise in business development and growth.
  • Ability to establish and nurture lasting relationships with clients at various levels, including C-suite executives.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, conferences, and industry events (up to 30%).
