We're seeking a visionary entrepreneur to join our Deep Science Ventures team as a Co-Founder in Residence for Zero Emission Steel. This is a unique chance to drive innovation and create a global impact.
About the RoleAs a Co-Founder in Residence, you'll be responsible for developing and scaling a high-growth enterprise focused on decarbonizing the steel industry. You'll work closely with our team to identify opportunities, build partnerships, and drive progress towards a carbon-neutral future.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a strategy to reduce or substitute demand for steel, focusing on electric ironmaking and novel technologies.
- Build and scale a high-growth enterprise, leveraging your expertise in metallurgical engineering, material sciences, process design, or a relevant field.
- Collaborate with our network of Partners and Advisors to access optimised tools, resources, and processes.
- Secure up to £250k in investment to incorporate the new venture and develop early proof-of-concept data.
