Job Title: Science Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Science Technician to join our team at The St Leonards Academy. As a Science Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of our Science curriculum, ensuring that our students receive the best possible education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating the use of practical resources and facilities
  • Providing technical support, assistance, and advice regarding the practical needs of the Science curriculum
  • Taking responsibility for health and safety within the Science faculty
  • Maintaining good order of the Science department and its resources

Requirements:

We are looking for an individual with a good general education, as well as an understanding of the learning and support needs of young people. An understanding of health and safety and COSHH relating to Science would be beneficial.
