Job Title: Event Production Manager

We are seeking an experienced Event Production Manager to join our team at Medea Creative Productions. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of our immersive experiences, ensuring that they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the technical production of our immersive experiences, including sets, wardrobe, lighting, sound, and special effects.
  • Collaborate with our creative team to develop and implement the technical vision for our productions.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of technical rehearsals, opening, and running schedules.
  • Ensure that all technical aspects of the production are completed safely and within budget.
  • Line manage and care for all on-site production and technical staff.
  • Conduct audits to ensure that all necessary RAMs and licenses are in place for all activities and contractors.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in production management, including technical scoping, site management, H&S, licensing, and event build.
  • Proven experience with technical aspects of theatre production, including sets, wardrobe, lighting, sound, and special effects.
  • Experience managing production teams, including contractors, scenic artists, technicians, stage crew, and other production staff.
  • Solid project management, budgeting, and scheduling skills.
  • Integral understanding of technical production and design, including audio/sound, lighting, bespoke technology, special effects, and interactive mechanics.
  • Extensive knowledge of health and safety regulations, ideally holding NEBOSH or IOSH qualifications.
