Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Professional to join our team in Belfast. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering accountancy, tax, and assurance services to a range of clients across the firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain clients' bookkeeping using accounting software, mainly Xero, including inputting invoices and bank transactions and completion of bank reconciliations.
  • Assist with the preparation of annual accounts for companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
  • Prepare VAT returns for clients using accounting software to comply with MTD requirements.
  • Assist with the preparation of personal and corporate tax computations and tax returns.
  • Occasionally assist with audit fieldwork.
Desirable Skills
  • Payroll experience, including knowledge of auto-enrolment requirements.
  • Experience using a range of accounting software, preferably Xero.
