The Role: HVAC Technician - Rail Systems
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems on rail vehicles. You will work closely with engineers and technicians to ensure that all systems operate efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system malfunctions
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as inspections, cleaning, and lubrication
- Install and replace HVAC components, including compressors, condensers, and evaporators
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician, preferably in the rail industry
- Strong understanding of HVAC principles and systems
- Knowledge of electrical wiring and control systems
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
