Call Out: 1 in 4 weeks standby with £170 allowance

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team at Alstom Train in Crewe, working on a static contract.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in electrical and mechanical maintenance, with a strong focus on maintaining and servicing critical manufacturing infrastructure and machinery.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform both electrical and mechanical maintenance on site, covering all infrastructure and machinery.
  • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks and reactive maintenance.
  • Work on various equipment, including turning machines, compressors, air supplies, miller machines, and pressors.
  • Approximately 70-80% of the work will be on machinery, with the remaining 20-30% focusing on infrastructure.
  • Some general fabric work will also be required as part of day-to-day duties.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards.

Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance, particularly within a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with turning machines, compressors, and miller machines would be highly advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
