We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate driver to join our Refugee, Resettlement and Migration Service. As a driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of individuals to essential appointments, services, and activities.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport customers to and from various destinations, ensuring their well-being throughout the journey.
- Uphold professionalism and empathy when interacting with diverse groups of customers.
- Load and unload customers' belongings with due care and respect.
- Be responsible for the day-to-day condition and cleanliness of vehicles.
- Understand and adhere to all relevant procedures, including safeguarding.
- Hold a valid UK driving licence, including category D1 or PCV.
- Be a positive role model in interactions with children and adults using the service.
- Be familiar with and adhere to the values of West Sussex County Council and comply with key regulations.
- Be physically able to undertake all required driving, transporting, and maintenance aspects of the role.
- Work as part of a committed and dynamic team to achieve the shared goal of delivering consistent and outstanding service.
