About The Role

Morrison Energy Services is seeking a highly skilled Regional Project Manager to lead our Commercial EV contracts across the UK.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure operational functions are undertaken in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage a team of Technical Managers, Construction Managers, and Back Office Administrators.
  • Provide operational support with bids and contracts to ensure robust pricing, risk management, and governance.
  • Manage EV infrastructure projects, including Independent Connections Provider (ICP) activities.
  • Monitor and manage team performance regarding Health and Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.
  • Negotiate with internal and external stakeholders at senior levels.
  • Procure sub-contractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure timely production and document control of as-built and progress records.
  • Lead the project team and foster a positive team culture.
  • Track and manage projects against key milestones.
  • Plan, recruit, and coordinate operational resources.
  • Minimize WIP and keep it within contract and business targets.
  • Engage in monthly cost and value reconciliations.
  • Maximize revenue and profit through cost savings and additional chargeable activities.
  • Protect the company contractually and commercially for delays.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • Industry knowledge: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction, or project management.
  • Project management: capacity to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Contract management: skills in managing compensation events and resolving issues.
  • Commercial skills: input into monthly Cost & Value Reconciliations.
  • Risk management: skills in managing risks.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • IT skills: Microsoft Office software.
  • Mobility: full driving license.
