Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Highways Supervisor to join our team at Pinnacle Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our highway maintenance projects, working closely with contractors and stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site inductions and record attendance
- Lead daily site briefings and coordinate with contractors
- Monitor and review contractors' method statements and risk assessments
- Carry out inspections, testing, and sampling to verify compliance
- Collect and analyze data for KPI measurement
- Liaise with Area Managers and Roadspace Manager for coordination and integration of works
- Communicate with Local Authorities, Statutory Authorities, Emergency Services, and other third parties as necessary
- Assist with the management and administration of construction works
- Monitor site progress and provide assistance as needed
- Develop and maintain Construction Phase Plans and Site Waste Management Plans
- Prepare monthly financial and progress reports
- Record and value work throughout the project duration
- Assist with planning and programming of works with contractors
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in the highways sector
- General knowledge of network operations and scheme delivery on high-speed roads
- Experience with asset management
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Computer literacy and proficiency in Word and Excel
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders
- CSCS and SSSTS certifications
