Expert Network Engineer

Dabster is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our growing team.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, implementing, and maintaining our robust network infrastructure. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the seamless operation of our critical systems and applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy LAN/WAN network infrastructure to support business needs.
  • Provide advanced-level troubleshooting for all network alerts and issues, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Manage and maintain monitoring and reporting systems to track network performance and identify potential issues.
  • Create and update comprehensive documentation related to all network systems and configurations.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for non-business hours support, providing timely assistance during critical situations.
  • Collaborate with vendors and other IT personnel to resolve complex technical issues.
Technical Qualifications:
  • Minimum of years of proven experience in network engineering, with CCNP certification preferred.
  • Exceptional network troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve network problems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with SD-WAN technologies, such as Silver Peak, is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Next Generation Firewalls (NGFWs), such as Cisco Firepower, is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP) and LAN switching technologies (VLAN, VTP, STP, EtherChannel).
  • Experience with network security tools and concepts, including IPSec/SSL VPNs, AAA architecture, TACACS+, and RADIUS.
  • Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco IOS and NX-OS software.
  • Cloud computing experience (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a valuable asset.
