Roc Search has partnered with a leading IT MSP to find a skilled Network Engineer to join their team. This award-winning company provides expert advice and high-quality support to their clients, who are predominantly SMEs in the financial, utilities, and real estate sectors.

The company is a friendly and supportive team of experts, with a technical team that includes Service Desk Analysts, Engineers, and senior Consultants. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert network support and maintenance to clients
  • Design and implement network infrastructure solutions
  • Collaborate with the technical team to resolve complex network issues
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest network technologies and trends

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a customer-facing position
  • Cisco and CCIE certifications
  • Solid networking fundamentals
  • Desire to learn and keep up-to-date with new trends in technology
  • 3rd line networking experience and MSP experience

Desirable Skills:

  • Intermediate understanding of networking protocols (IPv4, DHCP, DNS, switches)
  • Intermediate understanding of enterprise firewall technologies
  • Intermediate understanding of enterprise WAN technologies
  • Intermediate understanding of network management and monitoring
  • Intermediate understanding of packet capture technologies and tools
  • FortiGate NSE4+ certification
