Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Ecommerce Manager to drive growth and optimize our online presence in the vintage fashion retail space. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for managing our ecommerce operations, implementing digital marketing strategies, and enhancing our customer experience across all digital touchpoints.

Our client's ecommerce presence has grown organically, with revenue exceeding £2.5m last year. However, there's significant scope to improve, organize, and progress their ecommerce offering and shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Strategy and Implementation

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive ecommerce strategy to achieve revenue targets and business objectives
  • Manage and optimize the ecommerce website, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly shopping experience
  • Oversee online merchandising, including product listings, pricing, and promotions

Digital Marketing

  • Lead SEO initiatives to improve organic search rankings and drive qualified traffic
  • Manage paid advertising campaigns across various platforms (e.g., Google Ads, social media)
  • Develop and implement email marketing strategies to engage customers and drive sales

Analytics and Reporting

  • Utilize web analytics tools to monitor KPIs, analyze customer behavior, and identify areas for improvement
  • Generate regular reports on ecommerce performance, including sales, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing, creative, customer service, and IT teams to ensure seamless ecommerce operations
  • Collaborate with the events team to integrate online and offline marketing efforts

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven track record of driving ecommerce growth and improving key metrics
  • Strong expertise in SEO, paid advertising, email marketing, and web analytics
  • Proficiency in ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities

Desired Skills

  • Experience with fashion retail and event marketing
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and customer segmentation strategies
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization techniques
