About the Role

Mint Velvet is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail team and drive business success. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading and motivating your team to achieve key objectives and deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Brand Ambassador: Know and share the Mint Velvet brand story, understand how it shapes the retail landscape and influences future business decisions.
  • Market Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of Mint Velvet's market position and competitors, and use this knowledge to generate and act on ideas, opportunities, and concerns that impact the store.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit and develop a dynamic, passionate, and committed store team who reflect the brand profile and foster a high-performing and efficient culture.
  • Culture Development: Create an inspiring and listening culture within the store, empowering team members to share ideas and opinions to improve the brand and drive future success.
  • Personal Development: Be proactive in driving your own personal development and continually improving your performance.
  • Visual Excellence: Achieve exceptional visual delivery that reflects the Mint Velvet visual guidelines, creating a sanctuary of style and service that enhances the customer journey and overall experience in-store.
  • Operational Excellence: Follow and adhere to all policies and procedures, and run a sound and robust operation.
  • Results-Driven: Achieve remarkable results across sales, costs, stock loss, and payroll.
  • Omnichannel Approach: Understand the ever-changing retail landscape and use available data to drive an omnichannel approach.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have proven experience in all areas of the Store Manager role, including people management and delivering great service to customers. You will also need to be an inspirational, helpful, and informed role model who knows, wears, and lives the Mint Velvet style.
