About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team at B&M Retail. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in delivering exceptional store standards and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Store Manager in leading and developing a high-performing team, focusing on excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of store strategies, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Manage and maintain store operations, including stock management, inventory control, and visual merchandising.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to identify and address areas for improvement, implementing changes to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to team members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of delivering sales growth and improving store performance.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays, to meet business needs.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, inventory control, and visual merchandising.
