As a Fitness Manager at Village Hotels, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our leisure clubs. Working closely with the Leisure Club Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of customer service and delivering exceptional fitness experiences to our members.

The Role
  • You will oversee the management of our team of freelance group exercise staff, ensuring they deliver high-quality classes and services to our members.
  • As a natural leader, you will motivate your team to push boundaries and deliver exceptional fitness experiences, using cutting-edge technology such as Myzone and Mywellness.
  • You will be responsible for upskilling your team in the use of new technology and ensuring they participate in high-calibre fitness training programs from leading providers.
  • You will multitask to ensure all key fitness areas are covered, from coaching members on the gym floor to managing a fantastic group exercise timetable.
  • You will sustain a working environment that supports the company's objective of delivering excellent standards of service and meeting customer expectations.
  • You will operate cost control measures without compromising quality of service.
  • You will ensure the department operates at optimum efficiency, with a required number of trained fitness staff to meet business needs and exceed statutory requirements in respect of health and safety standards.
  • You will assist members and prospective members in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner, monitoring member and guest satisfaction using reflective feedback.
  • In the absence of the Leisure Club Manager, you will deal with complaints/problems politely and make every effort to resolve these.
