Job Overview

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Statutory Reporting Accountant to join our Shared Services Financial Accounting team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for preparing statutory accounts for multiple BAE legal entities, meeting with senior business unit personnel to discuss financial results, and assisting with group tax queries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare statutory accounts for BAE legal entities under FRS 101 and 102
  • Meet with senior business unit personnel to discuss financial results
  • Assist with group tax queries and prepare data packs for group tax
  • Prepare P11Ds and calculate Class 1a NI liability
  • Complete Office for National Statistics forms

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience of statutory account preparation, knowledge of tax analysis and accounting standards, and confidence in dealing with multiple stakeholders. ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification is desirable, as is experience in practice and knowledge of Excel skills.
