We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Nurse Specialist to work with our Lung Cancer team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering specialist information, advice, and support to patients and their families.

The successful candidate will have excellent organisation and communication skills, with a strong knowledge and experience of lung cancer. You will be working in a proactive and forward-thinking team that prides itself on delivering individualised, compassionate care to patients and their families.

Our team undertakes nurse-led clinics, including a nurse-led thoracic surgical follow-up clinic, which is a model being adopted throughout lung cancer nursing teams in the South West. You will be working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our patients.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced nurse who is passionate about delivering exceptional care to patients with lung cancer. If you have a strong commitment to patient-centred care and are looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialist information, advice, and support to patients and their families
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to patients
  • Participate in nurse-led clinics, including a nurse-led thoracic surgical follow-up clinic
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

Requirements:

  • Appropriate UK professional registration
  • Strong knowledge and experience of lung cancer
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a proactive and forward-thinking team
