We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Lung Cancer Nurse Specialist team at Southmead Hospital.

The successful candidate will work as part of our multi-disciplinary team to deliver specialist information, advice, and support to patients and relatives.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced nurse with excellent organisation and communication skills, and a strong knowledge of lung cancer.

The team undertakes nurse-led clinics, including a nurse-led thoracic surgical follow-up clinic, which is a model being adopted throughout lung cancer nursing teams in the South West.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialist information, advice, and support to patients and relatives

• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality care

• Develop and implement individualised care plans

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care

Requirements

• UK professional registration

• Experience of lung cancer nursing

• Excellent organisation and communication skills

• Ability to work as part of a team
