Consultant in Clinical Oncology

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Clinical Oncology to join our established Oncology team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have a special interest in Head and Neck and Thyroid Cancer and will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading clinical research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical care to patients with Head and Neck and Thyroid Cancer
  • Lead clinical research initiatives and participate in national and international studies
  • Develop and implement teaching and training programs for medical staff
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve patient outcomes and services
Requirements
  • CCT in Clinical Oncology or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in radioiodine services and clinical research
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and teams
