Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Oncology Specialist to join our established Oncology team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have a special interest in Head and Neck and Thyroid cancer and will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the management of Head and Neck and Thyroid cancer patients
  • Develop and implement clinical guidelines and protocols to improve patient outcomes
  • Contribute to the development of our clinical services and participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care

Requirements

  • Registration with the General Medical Council
  • CCT in Clinical Oncology or within 6 months of completion
  • Experience of practice within radioiodine services is desirable
