Role Contribution:
This position plays a vital role in AXIS' success by ensuring a leading claims service that addresses clients' complex risks and challenges, ultimately supporting business retention and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Under the guidance of senior claims professionals, manage General Liability (GL) and Medical Malpractice (Med Mal) claims assigned to you, along with other liability claims for a diverse range of commercial clients within the International Professional Lines Division.
- Assist in the management of new claims notifications, including processing notifications through the Claims Portal and ECF for Lloyd's Syndicate and other claims.
- Evaluate new notifications and direct them to the appropriate GL and Med Mal claims handlers, appointing Loss Adjusters, TPAs, and legal counsel as necessary.
- Collaborate with the Claims Operations team to establish new notifications on relevant claim platforms and produce loss runs and claims experience reports for brokers and underwriters.
- Work closely with TPA service providers, external legal advisors, market leaders, and brokers to ensure a high-quality claims service for clients.
- Engage with various stakeholders, including claims operations, underwriters, actuaries, and Internal Audit, to enhance claims performance through information sharing and project collaboration.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of A level education.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Numerate and analytical with a solution-oriented mindset, capable of meeting deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate effective relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and conflicting priorities within tight timelines.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative spirit.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a syndicate, company, or brokerage is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Work Environment:
This role typically requires in-office presence three days a week.
