About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our Regional Construction team at Kier Group. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in identifying and pursuing profitable business opportunities, while maintaining strong relationships with customers and consultants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Present Kier Group with potential clients and consultants through regular face-to-face meetings, presentations, and written reports.
  • Opportunity Management: Manage a pipeline of opportunities to ensure timely delivery and adherence to company standards.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and consultants to drive business growth.
  • Industry Representation: Represent Kier Group at industry events and trade shows to promote our services and build brand awareness.
  • Reporting: Provide regular business development activity reports to the management board.
Requirements
  • Industry Experience: Proven experience in business development activities within the construction industry.
  • Relationship Management: Exceptional relationship management and networking skills, with a genuine passion for the sector.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills in all forms, with the ability to present complex information effectively.
  • Transferable Skills: Ability to apply transferable skills from other industries or roles, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
