Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Craftsperson to join our Crane Maintenance Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our overhead cranes to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on overhead cranes to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform routine inspections and tests to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the Crane Maintenance Team to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance safety and efficiency within the team.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless integration of crane maintenance with production operations.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong mechanical engineering skills and experience in crane maintenance.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with maintenance management software.
