Job Title: Mechanical Craftsperson - Crane Maintenance

Department: Crane Maintenance Team

Location: Shotton

Salary: £33,477 - £36,651 + Bonus

Working pattern: Days 8am - 4pm

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Craftsperson to join our Crane Maintenance Team in Shotton. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our overhead cranes, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on Overhead Travelling Cranes.
  • Perform high-quality mechanical repairs based on existing schematics within set timelines.
  • Contribute to the design and production of spare parts for cranes.
  • Engage in the refurbishment of current machinery.
  • Actively participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives, enhancing safety and cleanliness within the Crane Maintenance Team.

Requirements:

We are looking for a seasoned fitter with substantial experience in the steel or construction industry. Possession of an NVQ level 3 in Mechanical Engineering would be advantageous.
