ABM UK is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cabin Services Team Leader to join our team at London Heathrow Airport. As a key member of our Cabin Services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and customer service are maintained on our aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage cleaning teams to ensure quality standards are met and security checks are carried out effectively.
- Safely drive and operate aircraft steps and position onto aircraft.
- Set an example and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Liaise with movement control to obtain daily work details and relevant paperwork.
- Attend briefings regarding key focus cleaning areas and effectively communicate the briefing to the team.
- Efficiently plan and allocate tasks fairly to team members.
- Update security check sheets in line with compliance.
- Accurately complete and return secure clean and vehicle defect documentation.
- Collaborate with the allocations team to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching and mentoring as needed.
- Ensure absence management processes are effectively managed.
- Ensure staff sign on and off correctly and perform their jobs effectively.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a driver, preferably with passenger transport.
- Previous supervisory/management experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- A general understanding of H&S legislation.
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and vehicle maintenance knowledge.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Flexible availability to work various shift patterns.
- Valid driving license.
- Computer literate.
